    Hello,

While I am still new to the whole console backup stuff, I was curious about backing up SwapMagic.

As per DragulaAC's post, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/155885 , I know and understand that you just can't rip and burn a SwapMagic disc. However, I was wondering if I obtained a SwapMagic image, in other words the "ripping" was already completed, would I be able to burn the image onto a blank DVD-R and use the program as the original?

Sorry to ask yet another question about backing up SwapMagic, but in my house, I am just eager to make backups of everything I own!

    Thanks for any help!

NO, just buy it. Swap magic is pressed over an original ps2 game so the ps2 thinks its an original.

Oh no, I do have it already. It works great!

The only thing is I would really like to back it up given the conditions of my place - it's a walk-through pretty much.

I was just curious to see if it could be recorded if the image was already ripped by another piece of industrial-standard hardware?
