I was happily using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink up until I started getting these "cyclic redundancy errors". As I understand it, these are caused by the latest protection formats. I've seen a lot of guides out there and a lot of people touting one software solution over another. What I'd really like to know is:

    1. Is there a FREEWARE decrypter available that can bypass the newest protection?
    2. What is the new protection format called?
    3. If there is no freeware solution. What would the best paid alternative be? I've tried AnyDVD, but it likes to suddenly stop recognizing my optical drive. When it does work, it removes the ability for me to fast forward or rewind.

Thanks for your help with this.
