    Hi,

I am lost... I was using Nero6 and all creating and burning was perfect... all of a sudden DVDShrink stopped working and I was only able to do some of the Nero functions... Now I can't do anything with Nero... it got to the point that converting Avi's would reboot my computer... burning dvd's would stop with "illegal disk error" and then finally... I couldn't even open Nero at all. I do beleive at one point I updated to the 6.6.018 version...but am not convinced that this was the sole cause of the problem. I do think that there is some other software that is causing the problem...but am not sure what would have been installed at this time to cause the greif.

I uninstalled Nero6 (did not use the cleantool though) and installed Nero7 and am having the same trouble. We recently reformatted the computer and have a fresh clean computer...so there shouldn't be too much crap on it.

I do not know how to post a log to show you what my system holds.
    Could anyone help?

    Tx

Hi... I knew that Roxio was a major conflict with Nero... I am not sure how it got on my computer... not even sure what it is.

I actually am avoiding the Nero update because it conflicts with DVD shrink.

What exactly happens when you burn a dvd too fast?

I will try the Roxio zap and tell you how it goes...

    Tx

Awesome... everything is working like a charm...

I never would have known that I had Roxio in there.

    Thank you so much
