Following on from shows you wanna see remade, what about shows that you wish had never been cancelled. Two shows come to mind for me, Futurama and Micallef Tonight. i doubt many people outside australia even heard of the second show. It was damn funny but sadly didn't even last a full season. :(

Why do the good shows die young??

Police Squad in the early 80s
Though they only made 6 episodes it spawned 3 Naked Gun movies and the show was better than any of the movies IMO. At the time it was the funniest show on television. They would have a special guest star each week that would only be on long enough to get killed - William Shatner, Florence Henderson, Lorne Greene. They had made a scene where John Belushi was the celebrity guest but never showed it since Belushi OD'd a little before it was supposed to air.

Futurama being cancelled, yet another reason to hate Rupert Murdoch. of course there are still 8 unaired episodes that will come out during the summer starting june 1st.

Family Guy WAS cancelled, but it's comming back.
Angel is being cancelled at the end of this season.
God i wish i had a horribly debilitating and fatal disease, so those make a wish people will grant my dying wish and bring back my favorite shows.

Yeah family guy was awesome, good news it may be coming back. hopefully futurama may share the same fate as family guy. one can hope. as for the "unaired episodes", if you live in Europe/Australia, which i do (in australia) the entire FUTURAMA series is available on four seperate box sets. (which i own all four and watch every day. yes i have no life :( )

don't know much about Farscape. There used to be alot of promoition for that show at one stage, then the promitions and the show dissapeared. i think its still on but at a ridiculous hour on Monday at 1:30am. Same with futurama, one of the channels is still aring the last or second last season, which haven't aired on Aus T.V before at 12:30am on a Tuesday, using quality shows only to fill the gaps where there isn't any "REALITY T.V" on.

Thats my ramblings for the day. :p

    hehehe

I concur with the end of your rambling rant (lol)though , there is far too much Reality TV (well here in U.K especially)

As to Farscape , there was quite a few Oz actors in it !
    Virgina Hey
    Gigi Edgley
    Anthony Simcoe
    Lani Tupu (okay New Zealander)

    all are main characters ...

The Tick, the cartoon version not the terrible live action. That was a good show. For live action only one that was good that I can remeber at the time that got cancelled that I didn't know why was Nowhere Man. That was amazing show.

It's a proud Aussie tradition, taking in New Zeland actors and claiming they are Aussie, *cough* Russle Crow*cough*.
