I have been using Memorex 16x DVD-Rs for all my Wii backup games without a single problem. Everyone works perfectly burning at 8x. Just make sure your DVD burner firmware is updated to the latest.

I'd look at rima, supermediastore and meritline also - Supermediastore usually packs better than shop4tech.

The discs in the link ARE Taiyo Yudens. Easy to ID by the unique tape wrap used.

Shop4tech did sell some house brand discs that were TY fakes, these arent.

If it looks like a TY - (tape wrap, smells like fruit instead of cheap plastic, smooth edges) and comes from one of the vendors that I listed: It should be the real deal.

As I said: Shop4tech DID sell some house brands with fake media codes, but NEVER as TYs.
