    Hi all

I have a telewest box installed upstairs I also have a starview 2 box downstairs.

All is fine but was wondering my telewest box upstairs the modem light on it, seems to be always flashing and has been for a number of days now. It has always flashed now and again but not all the time.

Does anyone know what this might mean?

    Many thanks

To be more specific, which light is flashing on your modem? If its the send/receive its normal, if its not then you could have a problem.

If it is a modded modem that is fine as it just shows the talkback is disabled as it should be. If its a subbed modem there is a problem with the talkback/update function, call your provider if it is subbed.

ferret75, we're in the same boat. I truly hope someone that understands the question responds to this post. I also have a telewest box and the light labelled 'modem' keeps flashing.

Also, it seems some channals are missing and switching between channals in the menu takes .. ages.

    Cheerio
