About gas prices..... wow they change like every goddamn second... They never did that back in England. WTF is it with milk in bags and gas prices changing rapidly. Look, I don't mean to be rude... but I don't understand Canadian logic lol.

CRIA just announced they've picked their first 40 as-yet-unnamed victims to be sued. Huge levies AND getting sued. Isn't life grand?

Hope this clears things up for those who figured there was actually a difference between RIAA and CRIA.

The law in Canada essentially means that you can Download music off the web legally (for now at least), you just can't share it. And the RIAA can only sue you if you are in the US.

the RIAA is hypocritical, but the MPAA is bad too. now you have to go to movies, pay $8 and see some old guy get $10000 to say that what he does gets him royalties. WHICH HE DOESNT!!!!

RIAA quiet? I'm worried if they are changing tatics then we're screwed. Word has it they are in trouble for violating RICO the antiracketeering law. Someone pinned their balls and I figure we could take them the rest of the way down. They are still suing people. Much less bluster which is probably bad. If they can't nail them for violating RICO then things will probably get worse soon.

If I can impliment my plan then RIAA will have much more to worry about than suing filesharers. They are lawsuit happy right another group I've been acquainted with which are the same way are even more lawsuit happy than they are so I introduce them and let them grind each other to a pulp. if you want to know about the other group turn your browser to www.xenu.org. These people have worse problems than we do. These a-holes are closing in from all sides. We need a free internet movement free from all corporate or government control or group control. RIAA is just a drop of piss in the bucket.

    Hiya everyone,

Have a read of the following:
    http://www.tamerlane.ca/library/cp/ap.htm

[bold]WARNING:[/bold] a LOT of reading, and it has lots of "Libertarian" views in it, but technically it is very interesting.

Please leave ALL POLITICAL/SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL knee-jerk responses and prejudices at the door while reading it.

Very interesting stuff, imagine that applied to the DMCA/RIAA/MPAA etc....

Now just watch the knee-jerk reactions.

    Have Fun...

I am going to bring this thread up AGAIN! Since the RIAA seem to be doing some activites again. This whole "Let's do raids on P2P users" issue is serious. I don't want to find 10 suits in my house searching through my porn...
