    trying a backup of the game with my wii key and the wii wont read it...using ridata dvd r+ disc tried the write speed at 2.5, 3 and 6 same problem. any ideas

    Try using a different brand of media and try using DVD-R instead of DVD+R.

    Make sure you dumped the game correctly.

    thanks for the insight...is there a way to figuare out what media you need ahead of time for the Wii disc? What do you mean "did you dump the game correctly." Sorry newbie to this burning stuff.

    when he says "dump" he's talking about the process of ripping the data off the original disc.

    i'm assuming you downloaded an iso or the rar files to make an iso from the web.

    with regard to the media query, you just have to find out via trial and error then stick with whatever works consistantly.

    Also make sure that the size of the dump is right. The size should be identical on all ISO.

    Nintendo Wii ISO size: 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes).

    Nintendo Gamecube ISO size: 1.35 GB (1,459,978,240 bytes)
