the box losing signal

Hi

I am new to this. I have 'the box' and it keeps losing the signal and switching itself off. the display turns to 0 and the turns off. it comes back on and does it again. the guy we got it off us and said it worked fine in his house. we are supplied by n*l through an aerial. can you help me. I am not very technical.

thanks for that but the how come when our supplier took it back it worked fine in his house. that makes me think it is not the problem you refer to. Would it have to do with the mmds signal from the aerial which is what he is telling us.
