in ireland rte television have started digital television .not all tele,s can receive this the must have mpeg4 ,Ihave an old starview box can this be used has it got mpeg4 to receive irish digital ANTO
No Starpoo boxes are only fit for the bin, seen argos have a cheap Bush DTT box for sale €50 but you get what you pay for with bush.
if you wanted to get an irish saorview box that needs an aerial on roof or indoor aerial if close enough,or a combo box and/or pvr for recording it also needs a sat dish like an old sky dish. if you have a hd box gor for the hd saorview more channels will be added over time. combo combines saorview dtt and sat tuners so an aerial and dish needed. + pvr if you want to record on external hard drive.
