I had a problem with my WindowsXP PC, so i had to reformat and re-install the whole thing - xp and all the driver software.
But it seems that the colours have been messed up because i can not get 'normal' colours. I even installed Adobe Gamma callibration software to solve the problem - but it has not helped.
Tried to connect another monitor to the PC -still the same problem. The monitors worked oke on other PC's.
I am out of ideas and need help to deel with this. Any ideas????

In what way are the colours messed up. You're not running in 16 colour or 256 colour mode are you?

ok this happen to me to follow what i say

first right click on my computer

then look for hardware manager or device manager

then go to monitors then right click on the name of your monitor
    and go to properties

then go to the tab that says driver(s) and click it and then click update driver
