Hi. I am in the process of installing a water cooling sytem on my new Halo edition 360. My question is concerning the thermal paste on the GPU and CPU and such. Is this paste satisfactory as it is a brand new 360? I've read Arctic Silver is the best. Thanks.

The 360 doesn't use paste, it uses a type of 'pad'! This process seems to be working for Microsoft, but I'm still a firm believer in paste! No harm in replacing it with good branded paste!

All thermal pastes, even the dirt cheap generic stuff, are better than thermal pads. If you are going to be taking off the stock heatsinks, always replace the thermal compound with fresh stuff. Just make sure to clean all the old junk off with rubbing alcohol.

I recently replaced the thermal pad from my original Xbox with Arctic Silver Ceramique and my temps dropped ~ 10C!
