tips for a beginner

    lads
    sorry if this sounds stupid but im not the most technical minded, basically i want to get all the channels w/o paying the ridiculous fees and i stumbled along this forum in my search for answers. i live in dublin and have Ntl (or whatever they call themselves these days). what box should i buy and is it easy to set up even for an idiot like me. many thanks for any help

    The easiest box to get up and running in my opinion would be the Starview 2 'The Box' it's definately a good one to start off with.

    was a bit brave and went with a Eurovox Max-V 2008. hope its good. il be on here real soon asking why i cant set it up i bet!! thanks again for the advice

    The E*****x is a very good one alright just not as easy to use as the S******w ( in my opinion anyway :) )

    and we will see and hear when problems arise,i myself like the digivox,so much for doing a search of problems with various boxes as research pays off in the long run
