After months of problem free DVD back ups,
I tried to back up a film this morning and TMPEGenc refuses to recognize the .D2V video project file I created using DVD2AVI.

I have even tried the last backup I successfully completed to see if there was a problem with the d2v file (i hadn't deleted the vobs or the project file)and this won't work either. If I manually select the d2v file in tmpegenc, it says "incorrect or not supported" I have changed nothing. Any Ideas anyone?

    thanks, Mezz.

Hello Half Moon, this problem sometimes happens when you install DVD2SVCD, but it can happen anyway. Go into DVD2AVI folder and you will find a file called something like DVD2AVI.vfp

Just copy that file across into your TMPGEnc folder and change the priority of the new file in Environmental settings to highest.
