I have been converting avis to mpegs with tmpgenc for several weeks now with no problems, but now everytime I run Tmpgenc I get the error message "tmpgnc cause an invalid page fault in module ~AP9124.TMP at 018f:0237". I have no idea why this happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Tmpgenc twice and I still have the same error message. I am using a compaq PResario w/ an AMD Duron processor 800 MHz. 512 mb ram, 40 Gig hard drive, *MB nvidia TNT2 Vanta LT Graphics Card. Any help would be great thanks.

After much searching and reseaching I found the answer myself. I go to the eviromental setting under the VFAPI plutin tab, and change the Direct Show Mutimedia file Reader's Priority to 2. I hope this helps anyone that runs into the same problem.
