I have been having some problems with the audio getting out of sync with the video so have consulted these pages. One of the resolutions was to extract the audio using virtual dub and then load the AVI and WAV separately.

The problem is, each time i attempt to load the AVI TMPGenc crashes with the error code of : 0xc0000005.

I am running windows XP with service pack 1 installed and have downloaded the DivX codecs (which from what i have read should allow this to work). One solution i also found was to use virtual dub to translate the AVI into an uncompressed version, this did not work either.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated
