TMPGEnc Performance

    Every time I run TMPGEnc it seems to get slower and slower. A regular 90 min. movie would usually take me 4 hours, now its taking me 16 hours!! My hard drive is fully defragmented and TMPGEnc is the only thing running on my computer when I encode. I am running on a P-4 1.3 Ghz 1.12 GB of RAM and a 40 GB Hard drive. Can I do anything to speed up TMPGEnc??

    Did you change any settings in TMPGEnc?? (such as Motion Search Precision)

    Then did you install new codecs over the last while? A new codec may have over-written a faster one!
