    hi

    if your prefered app is tmpgenc you need the divx mpeg4 codec installed and you must higher the prioirty in tmpgenc plus...

    (i use codec pack called FFDSHOW )

    go to ENVIROMENTAL SETTINGS / VFAPI Plugin

    and increase the DIRECTSHOW MULTIMEDIA FILE READER to say 1 or 2 from 0. (under prioirty part on right side)

    ==========================

    but if you want a free app to make the divx to vob/ifo/bup (all in one) faster than tmpgenc and also ready for burning then get this i use it! EXCELLANT!!!!!!!!!

    What are you trying to do with the mpeg file? If you are trying to encode it. Why? If it is mpeg you can burn straight to disc.
