When using TMPGEnc vv2.53.35.130, when I tried to split the file, right after
I selected first half of MPEG file and clicked OK, I get this error:
"At address 73F91D04, Read error occurred against address 73F91D04".
How to prevent and fix this error?

DL ver 2.54 from tmpgenc.net. May solve problem (originally I thought that it was solved for sure, but memory served me *bad* on this one:)

(BTW: I sometimes get the same err, but then I can just continue - RUN button - and Cut works OK!)

I gave up on TMPGEnc for file splitting and ended up d-loading a file called
MPEG Tool v1.04 on the Net. It has a
clumsy interface, but it seems to work fine(after you figure out how to use it) at splitting MPEG files before you use Nero to burn your VCDs.

I used MyFlix and it worked great for splitting mpegs in 2 or more. it also has some extra cool features like being able to convert back to mpeg after you make a vcd.
