to add subs(srt) to an own dvd

    Hi, guys it's me again.

    how add subs(*.srt)on my own dvd movie(to old 1932, and its french)
    i have: 1.-the movie (*.avi, in french)
    2.-the subs(*.srt)
    3.-nero vision expres 3
    Now a need to know, how to put the subs in my dvd

    any idea its good

    Nero Vision Express 3 doesn't support subtitle streams. If you have an .avi file and an .srt file then you would need different software to author your DVD.

    There's lots of software that will do this. I don't use it myself but, for example, you could use Avi2DVD. It will let you to add an .srt file.

    What I do is to encode the .avi file to .mpeg2 then convert the .srt to a .sup file. Then I use IFOEdit to author the DVD, but that's just my way.
