Here's how to play Tomb Raider:

This is for using the PS2Loader Cd with the Swap Magic discs to get Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness to work on a PS2 with a "No Soldier" Mod Chip.
NOTE: This only works for version 1-6 PS2s.
Also NOTE: The PS2 Loader is also called the PS2 CD Loader by some people.

1.) Boot the "Swap Magic CD" Disc.

2.) PRESS AND HOLD the Eject Button until the CD Tray Opens. Quickly put in the "PS2 Loader" Disc and press the X Button after the CD Tray Closes. The PS2 Loader screen will show up in a few seconds.

3.) Press the Eject button (DO NOT HOLD IT!) and take out the "PS2 Loader" disc and put in the "Swap Magic DVD" disc. Press the Eject button again to close the tray.

4.) Wait until the PS2 Loader screen says "Media: PS2 DVD" in the lower left corner of the screen and then press the X Button. After a few seconds a message will say "Put in a DVDR by EA Method" in the middle of the screen.

5.) PRESS AND HOLD the Eject Button until the CD Tray Opens again. Quickly put in the "Tomb Raider" DVD and press the X Button after the CD Tray Closes.

6.) The game loads and now you can play!

Now on to Soul Calibur 2....
I was able to burn the game but need to now know how to get it to work.

    1. Has anybody been able to burn this?
    2. If so do you have the flip top no mod case or a mod chip?
    3. How did you do it?

Email is the best way to reach me so if you have some helpful info email me at bodybuilder@comcast.net

You better edit the Soul Calibur part of your post mate. You cant speak about downloading games here, it's illegal.

I have Soul Calibur on Japanese import. I backed the game up and it works fine with my V4 No-Solder and Action Replay. I also tested it with Swap Magic and PS2 Loader and again it works fine.

You don't have to "hold" any buttons or do anything "quickly" if you use a slide card or have a flip top.

    Load swap magic cd

flip-top and remove smcd, then put in cd loader

Push x, then when prompted EJECT cd loader

Insert swap magic dvd and push EJECT again, so the tray goes back in.

Wait until prompted, then flip-top and remove smdvd and put in tomb raider/hitman2.

    done

Well that's fine and dandy if you have a flip-top. But, if you had read the guy's post correctly he states that the instructions goven are for no-solder users.......
