top-menu editing question...

    hi, i was wondering about editing my top-menu file to make custom labels and words, but, i have top-menu flasher on my PSP and i have already flashed my own custom icons. to hex edit, do i just use the top-menu file that is throguh recovery mode or do i use the top-menu that was created through the custom flasher on my computer. thanks for any help

    so wait, do i just hex edit the one that is in the recovery> flash 0 files or the one that is on the root of the memory stick and then flash it again?

    ok, so after i custom flash the top_menu in the top_menu flasher on my PSP, do i then go into recovery> flash 0 and hex edit the top_menu in there?
