Toshiba SD-3960 play +R's?

    Hi! my sister is getting my parents a Toshiba SD-3960 for christmas and I was just wondering if anyone knows if this player plays Dvd+R's. Also what about VCD's and SVCD's. Thanks for the input.

    I've had a Tosh 3960 for a year now and plays everything....I mostly use +R media...
    My Panasonic s47 has a problem with some recent burns with the 8x media but even those play on the Tosh... Great player and inexpensive too....it also plays any vcd I've tried....
