I've recently installed Vista onto my PC (specs listed in my sig).

I installed Vista onto my separate hard drive, with XP still installed.

In XP, my internet connection works fine, no trouble. I use the built in Ethernet port on my motherboard (Asrock 755Twins-HDTV) which is a "ULi PCI Fast Ethernet Controller".

I downloaded the driver available from the Asrock website, and installed it. However, the device is connected, and all I get is "limited or no connection" or simple no connection.

I'm open for any opinions, help appreciated.

Otherwise I'm stuck with Vista which I can't be updated via the internet.

    Thanks in advance!

    Doesn't matter.

After hours of messing about with the settings myself, and numerous restarts, i've worked it out.
