Ok so I have a PS 2 v.7 with a 40 gig Maxtor Harddrive and HDloader. Everything works great but, the more games I play the more saves I have to delete from the memory to make room for the news games to save! My question is, is there a way that I can transfer the saves from my memory card to my HDD to make space for new saves on the memory card?

Found this memory card exploit. You will need a modded ps2 with a chip that can run in dev mode such as matrix infinity or dms 3 or ripper. If you want the iso image to put on CD to install to mc lemme know.

MCManager. It allows you to copy save games to and from your HD (compatible with the PS2MNU-K database). It also allows you to delete saves off your MC. The benefit of this over the PS2 Browser: MCManager shows how big a saved game on your MC is without you having to select it. This makes it easy to figure out which game to take off when you need space.

Why is ths better than PS2Menu-K for save storage?
    1) the database is sorted alphabetically
    2) you can use te USB keyboard for renaming
    3) the onscreen keyboard has more characters to choose
    4) when you rename, you can add color tags to the save (explained below)
    5) lists the MC by save game, not as a directory tree
    6) if you don't have a save partition, you can select size of the partition to create

    You can :
    1) MC Exploit + MC Manager + HDD

Search/Read first, "MC exploit method" related posts.

    2) MAX Drive/Max Drive Evo + PC

You can save your saves to PC hdd via MAX drive USB memory card.

    cheers

If you have a network setup (either direct connect or router) between you PS2 and your computer, use ExecFTPS.ELF and an FTP software (ie FlashFXP). Just put the MCMGR.ELF file in the same directory as your other memory card exploits. No need to burn more CDs.
