Verbatim dual layer discs are surely more expensive than these Traxdata discs but the success rate for the Verbs is almost 100%.I've read somewhere(not here at afterdawn)that some people did get success with these Traxdata discs but it was never 100%,may be one coaster(unreadable discs)out of six discs. Some others said that their drive won't play the discs but would play for some other people. It also depends on the drive you have, the hitachi drive is a bit more pricky about the discs you use.But even if it does play, these discs will surely give your lens a hard time because of it's inferior dye compared to Verbatim discs and this may result in a shortage of your lens lifetime.

Traxdata discs are either Ritek or Ricohjpn coded discs.
