i have "dvd 43" and "any dvd" on my pc, i have dvd x platinum, dvd shrink, dvd decryptor, dvd clone2, (dvd 43 and any dvd are always running in the background) and nothing will go with out some error. dvd clone2 got to the writing to disk part, then stopped with a media error message. dvd decryptor stops and says: devise authentication failure reason- failed to send challenge key. dvd shrink stops and says: error-can't read drive E, overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
dvd platinum says: error reading sectors! data: 1 / 0.

please help, is there no way to copy my dvds?

you sure have alot of software.dvd xcopy platinum does pretty good for me. however for the tough ones i use decrypter to rip(pay attention to where it puts the file).use dvd shrink to compress, and nero to burn.i usually use decrypter in file mode.

sounds to me something is not well with the pc
run a system check with neroinfo tool(if you have it)
check whether you have working aspi layers, and the DMA mode is on
