I had looked for a custoom gameboot thing since i thought it was neat, and i'm new to the whole firmware stuff, but I didn't delete anythign in the folder, I backed up the Flash0 folder too. However I tried starting the game after placing the new gameboot file in there and then the psp turned off after 5 seconds and now it won't turn on. It turns off after like 10 secs and i can't access the recovery menu either. Is it 'bricked'? I did back up the Flash0 Folder however, is there anyway to fix this?

If you can't access or didn't have the restore menue then your PSP is bricked for good. A 3000 can't be unbricked using a Pandora battery, and that's the only way to recover a full brick.
