    Hi,
recently, I've been unable to boot any ripped ps2 games. At first I thought it was a CD booting issue, but then successfully booted cd based games with no problem. Does anyone else have or have had an similar problem to this and if so, any idea on how to fix it? I'm using a V4 PS2 and a Magic 3 chip.
    Thank you in advance.

Hmmm If you have a mod chip then it should work. How long have you had your mod chip?

i got it about 3-4 weeks ago. At first it booted ripped games like a charm and then one day just refused to do so. I get a variety of errors. Sometimes it'll just stay at the "browser" screen, other times it'll be the red mist, and at other times it'll have the "unable to read disc" error. All of these errors from the same CD. DVD backups work perfectly though.
