I have a Hub, and the following setup, but I can't connect in Flash FXP!
I've read all the tutorials, read the forum, HELP!

Here's my setup. I'm running XP, With 2 Nics and a HUB so I can go on LIve and XBC, but I want to be able to FTP.
I can connect to Xbox Live just fine. I'm Using ICS for the 2 NICS.

I have a Xbox with an Xecuter lite 2.1.

The 2nd NIC is running Cat 5 out to a Netgear Hub which has Cat 5 going to the Xbox. (Did this so I wouldn't have to use a crossover)

Loaded evox from a CDRW, and under settings I have

    DHCP
IP:192.168.0.112-(I assume this is the Hub's)
    Ethernet Mac Address:00:50:F2:47:C4:CB
    Setup Network -Yes
    Use Static IP-No
    Xbox Ip-192.168.0.3
    subnet mask-255.255.255.0
default gateway-192.168.0.1 (This is the 2nd NIC i think)

    DNS's say all 0's

    FTP is enabled,

Ipconfig settings show Internet Nic as having IP:68.168.244.83
    Subnet mask- same as above
    default gateway 68.168.244.1

When I fire up Flash FXP it can never connect to the xbox, it always times out.

Do I have it set up wrong? Can it be done that way?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Tried it, but I got the following message:

Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to acces the folder.
    Details: The operation timed out.

Something else I discovered, the bios may be incorrect because the chip I have is a executer Lite 2.1, and it says matrix inside when it boots.

If I can get on xbox live, I should be able to FTP the box. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Keep em coming, I can use the help.

I've always used a cross-over cable to connect my xbox with a PC, but i recently got a hub & some patch cables. On the xbox i thought i had to change the setting: Use static IP, to No, & with the PC i thought i would have to obtain IP address automatically. But when i tried to use flash FXP to connect, it says timed out. So i went back to my xbox & changed the setting: Use static IP, to Yes. Then went into the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties of my Local area connection, clicked on: use the following IP, & made it the same as the default gateway on my xbox (192.168.0.1) Same as yours, & it's working fine. If flash FXP says something about the mac address instead of connection timed out, all you have to do is turn off your xbox & turn it back on. I don't think it will be the BIOS causing the problem, i know someone with a chameleon mod-chip & his says xecuter2 when he turns on his xbox.
