I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. Every rented DVD I try to play in my PS2 will not play right. The color goes all screwy and then clears up and then does it again. This does not happen with the DVDs that I own nor does this ever happen with games. Only with DVDs that are rented. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thank you for any help that can be offered.

Do you have your ps2 hooked up through a VCR? If so then that is your problem. Macrovision pretection.

The best thing to do before you play the game is to clean them....remember....these games see a lot of wear and tear...they are played in a lot of PS2s
