    Hi,

I am having trouble getting back from two screens to one with my laptop. The issue is that I usually use two monitors (extended screen) at work, and when I just use the laptop (one screen), some windows are out of screen; AND, I cannot open my command prompt with just my laptop, but I don't have any problem at all when I am using two screens. The OS is Windows XP.

Could anyone help me to solve the problem? Thanks.

That key combo doesn't work with me at least...

If that doesn't work with you either, then this should work:

    1) Right click on your desktop

    2) Select "Properties"

    3) Go to the "Settings" tab

    4) Click on the picture of a monitor with the number "2" on it

    5) Uncheck the box that says "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor"

    6) Click "Apply"
