i have a movie that is in 3 parts. in the beginning of every new part, a few seconds of the previous one is shown again. how do i merge these files, then? it´s awfully hard to cut the movie in the precise right second... is there any program that just ignores if the same clip comes again?
i'm pretty sure virtualDUB gives you frame by frame editing abilities, should be pretty easy to cut out the frames that way. i've done it with a few 2 disc movies i was testing.
Be sure you cut at key frames or you'll probably get some problems. It would be nice if you find the same key frame in both of the segments you're cutting.
Isnt it possible to make an arbitrary frame a keyframe and as a result, be able to cut whereever you like?
