question, a pioneer A03 burner and it burns well. Using MyDVD. But when I put the burned DVD's in my standalone player it won't play correctly. It only shows a few pics...it keeps dropping out and then reads again. In short; it skips through the movie. Sometimes the menu's are displayed correctly and works ok. WHAT COULD I HAVE BEEN DOING WRONG ?!?!?

First thing always to do is to test DVD-R with few different players, like those that are almost 100% compatible with anything ranging from VCD to English breakfast, like most of Pioneer's models. If it plays with other players correctly, you can fairly safely assume that your player has problems with the disc and that the problem is not with the burning process. One thing that effects a lot is the DVD-R media -- some brands work and some don't. Also, if you use DVD-RW discs, you need to finalize the discs.
