I'm trying to swap in a burned game on my PS2, I took the DVD drive cover off the machine, but there's no pin to move left and right on this thing. Did they get rid of that in later versions of the PS2 or something? This sucks.

there should be a white pin like thing (you have to take the whole DVD tray off to see it not just the top of the dvd tray)

By "top of the DVD tray" do you just mean the front cover that snaps off of it? Do you have a link to a diagram or picture of what I need to do? Because I thought it was just directly underneath the tray itself and could be accessed by the snapping off that front tray cover.

    no,

    when you open the ps2,

there is a cover on top of the DVD tray, when you take that off, you can see the white pin like thing

Oh okay, so I have to take the top cover off the system then? That sounds easy enough.
