when you start the Xbox instead of just quickly pressing the power button. Press and hold down the power button and your Xbox will boot up with the Chip turned off

no there is no external on/off switch with the x3...chip on/off is controlled by the power button...what is so hard about it? it is actually more convenient, and you don't have to worry about breaking a switch and wasting money on a new one.

quick tap power button or push eject button = chip on
hold power button = chip off

    it ain't too hard fellas.

Nothings hard about it, I just wondered as I just got my chip today with the pro switch thingy. So i guess this was a waste of money then.
