Well....does anyone know if it is possible to use Xlink Kai with this? And if so....how do you set it up to work with it?

well, i got it to work after reformatting and reinstalling windows, but now after using it for about 15 minutes it gets realllly hot and stops working. is there something that I can do to make it work for more than 15 minutes? if I leave it plugged in for like 24 hours, it starts smoking.

well, after thinking a little bit, i decided to use an usb extension cable and put it in my mini-fridge. now it seems to work fine and doesn't get hot. but i did lose a lot of signal strength though. :). do you think that it is harmful for it to be in such a cold environment?

Hi everyone I am running a Vista so everything goes smooth sailing until I install the Asus Wlan control center which by checking its compatibility is only for Windows XP. Because of that I cant pass step 4. (Then click Start -> All Programs -> ASUS Utility -> WLAN Card -> ASUS WLAN Control Center.) if I were to try and run it i would get a "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application. "

So is there a way people running Vista can do this???

    HELP PLEASE

I am also running Vista and am getting the *exact* same error. It would be great to get this hack running on Vista, as the Nintendo Wi-Fi program is full of bugs -- it works for my two Wiis but will not work for my DS. I do not want to switch my router from WPA2/AES back to WEP, as my neighbors (no kidding) are trying to hack into my router!

Hello, thanks for this great guide :)

It works perfectly on my PSP & windows XP

    Just one doubt:
Does it work on windows vista too?

My other laptop runs vista but I don't have it here at the moment to try. Has anyone been able to make it work on vista?

I am getting this error as well!
I'm already having a headache from trying everything. Anyone have a solution to this?
How do we add it into the "home network"?

Also, the connection of my Nintendo Usb Wifi (recognized as such, not as Buffalo etc.) doesn't have any ICS settings in it's properties.. but I suppose I should only active that in my main internet connection, which is arcor dsl?

best info i can say is to go through it again from scratch and follow the video, its been a while since i did it and cant remember much of it.
also with ICS, its under the properties of your main connection (your router)

i tried the tutorial but it doesnt come up with the buffalo wireless,
does that mean i have to buy a wii lan adapter or a router?
