Is there somewhere a tutorial which explains how I can make a shared map on my PC and then stream for example mp3 files?

    hmmm i dont know why dont you SEARCH FOR IT. hint hint. its alot easier to just search for what ya need man and it goes faster. just go google it or do something like a mirc chanel. dont waste our space and post something that isnt needed.

    hmm pacman? you tell this guy this, but you come on here last week or two and blaster the boards with the same questions...actually you prolly made at least 10 threads, all which could have been answered if you searched...so before you knock someone, make sure to look at yourself first.

    hehe

    If you have your xbox able to link to your pc with flash fxp or any ftp program then you could esily set up a smb server on your xbox with xbmc.

    look in your xml file in your xbmc and find a line like this

    <bookmark>

    smb://DOMAIN;username:pwd@MyWindowsServer/music/

    this is where you will input your info.....if you don't use a password to link up to your xbox then all you would have to do is the one line

    where it says ip this is where you would put your ip addy,then all you would have to do is make some shard folders on your pc and it will find them. Any other wuestion can be answered either on xbox scene or the xbmc forums.
