    What error are you getting?

    Both programs up to date?

try ripping w/ dvdfab decrypter then open those files in Clone.

DVDFab is a little better ripper when it comes to less than perfect discs.
You may not have been able to see the imperfection on the disc. So this may have been the case here on why DVDFab worked and Clone didn't.

I did update anydvd just now, but you might be right in the imperfection on the disk. I was just wondering if anyone else had any problems with that movie. Thought maybe clone/any had let me down for the first time.

Nah I haven't had Clone w/ AnyDVD let me down on a disc yet copy protection wise.
Now if the disc is a little iffy it might - then I just use something like DVDFab or Decrypter.
