I just bought 25 pack of fuji purple disks at Bestbuy for 39 bux, which was their best deal and I figured Fuji is a pretty respectable company. I have a Sony MXS-10, which has a Pioneer Dvr-103 burner with the latest Sony firmware for it (1.80, normally 1.90 if you have the A03), and I put it in, and it didnt even read that a disk was in it. Not windows explorer, and not any writing program. What gives? :c( Anyone else have this problem?

Those discs are DVD+R ... what you need is DVD-R with that writer ... so you bought the wrong type of discs!!

Aside wrong format issues: I have used the Fuji DVD+R from BestBuy (25 pk). They are 2.4X eventhough there is no speed rating on the packaging. I've enjoyed using them and they work great. No coasters yet.
