Any1 know ANY good ISP's. I’m looking for a fast connection with a good upload speed. Right now I have a 512k with a rubbish upload speed 30k with no download limit am with Wanadoo which when i joined was called Freeserve and thats why right now i can dl as much as i want but i need more speed. It seems all or most of UK ISP's have download limits which ******* suck. AOL is like the only ISP that I can get in my area that doesn’t have download limits, but i mean AOL…..there has to be something better out there in the UK.

This is the new one everyone is raving about, monthly contracts and faster connection speeds.

I am with Wanadoo, 1Mb connection and 2Gb download limit (plenty for me at the mo').

    Bulldog broadband.

    heres the link http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/

Hey haimback, "BT will not apply this usage allowance until Spring 2005. After the date, if your monthly usage allowance limit is exceeded, you will have the choice of a restricted service for the remainder of the month, or the option to buy additional usage capacity."

So that means when spring comes they will start taking action :-( i think its a pound a gig after the limit. The good news is that from the 24th of this month BT Yahoo are doing a 2mb with a 30gb limit :-| right now its only 15gb.

As for the T1 lol thats a bit too fast.

Yeah the faster the better but i don't like the idea of paying people to dig up the road just for a really fast connection you know how much that would cost lol

That isnt very fast at all but it is 5x faster than dial up. Downoading speeds wont be very fast but it will be ok for web page viewing.

Whats the cheapest and best UK ADSL ISP?

Bulldog-Broadband do a nice inclusive £30 4MB service, unlimited, and that includes some telephone service as well, anything cheaper or better than this elsewhere?

Check out www.adslguide.org.uk/ for a list of different ISP's.
I am with Prodigynet and have no DL limit and have had no problems.
