Hello all. New to forums but learing quick. I bought a used psp from Ebay and shocked how nice and clean it was. No batt and memory but with the transplant of my own , fired it up and guess what. Won't play any umd's. No errors show up and drive makes alittle spinning noise , that's all then stops. The little circle or I guess busy symbol in the lower right corner keeps searching for a disk but like I said no errors pop up. I tried some tricks I have seen on some forums tonight but need help. Wanted to surprise my little guy with one without paying retail. Any info would be great.

    Another victim...

I'm guessing this is why it was so cheap eh?

Sry mate but odds are you got scammed, Ebay is notorious in general for shoddy sh** but when it comes to PSP's and accessories its even worse.

My old 1Gb Memory Stick from EBay decided to die one day, wasn't suprised.

If there's any return policy take advantage of it now, I'd say it's not worth the frustration or any cost of getting it repaired.

Thanks for the help. There is alot of good parts on it and it looks brand new. Its not bricked so I assume its a laser but maybe I'll be more honest and relist it with more info. Happy gaming.
