First off, I don't know if I'm in the the correct forum; bear with me if I waste anyone's time. Here goes: I downloaded two bit torrent files (movies)but could not view them using VLC, Windows Media Player,Quick Time player, etc. Even stranger, I was able to clearly view the sample files that came with these movies, but not the movie itself. They were not AVI or rar files. The only information I can share of their identities are that they are Kvcd's: one is a TUS release the the other a UKB release. Can anyone help?

It sounds like a codec issue. Download a program called Gspot and it can tell you wat kinda codec you need and then download a codec pack that fits the definition given by the program.
