How do I uninstall a program that won't uninstall from the above options? I don't simply want to delete folders because I don't want system errors. Somebody said that he used REGISTRY but I think that's a little precarious to mess with...please help...thank you
It can depend on the application. Some applications have a separate uninstaller that you can download from their website. It's usually the same as deleting keys from the registry, but it's been setup in a batch file so you don't have to manually do it. Which application are you trying to uninstall?
it's chessmaster, my dad failed to read the video card requirement indicating that it needed to be directx 9.0c compliant
You can use a really good software CCleaner. Its purpose is to clean your computer but it has an uninstall feature on the left where it says Tools. Or you can use Ashampoo Uninstaller.
