uninstalling Norton 2005

    Hi there..
    I'm having trouble to uninstall my previous installed norton 2005. i can't remove it as there is no NORTON ANTIVIRUS on the add/remove program. how would i handle this?

    thanks auslander! any other way rather than reinstall windows?

    that link is the symantec uninstaller. it should uninstall the program as good as can be.

    every time you install a program, it changes registries files in windows as well as a lot of complex little bits of code. uninstalling, while removing the program, does not completely fix all these little changes. that's why it's good to reinstall windows occasionally--it makes your system more efficient and secure.

    Can you run Norton Corporate and Norton 2006 together w/o causing conflicts?

    probably, but why would you want to?

    norton is worse than a virus.
