I'm not sure what thred this should go under so I thought I'd start my own.... Everytime I try to burn something on a dvd or if I go on a game site like pogo I get this annoying alarm that will not go off until I restart my computer. Is there anyone that might know how to stop this or how to fix it.

Your computer might be trying to tell you something....find the manual on the motherboard, that will have the alarm options and what they mean.

sound like its a heat problem..meaning your processor or main mother board is running hot!!!!!

fix add more fans or clean the vents..

to see if what i said is true, take the side off ye computer, get a large floor fan and director it into your computer.

now with the floor fan running start ye computer and test...
no alarm then its a heat problem..
