Well this is a little frustrating. I tried to flash my 74850C drive back to stock to update to the latest dash, when I began getting status 0xD0 and 0xD1 when sending an intro. I then noticed jungle flasher 1.85 was out. I updated, and finally got the drive to intro. Loaded up my FW and clicked Write. It then froze at Writing: .
So I decided to send the intro-of-death. That went through fine, except the flash chip was now unrecognized. I clicked write and got Unknown flash type Write aborted. When I resend the intro I get the correct flash properties back but I still am unable to write the firmware.

I need the drive working in an hour. I have tried every thing I can think of.

What tool are you using? Do you have OFW dump? Are you using a via card? Freezing usually means you don't have the drivers disabled.

Sorry it took so long to get back.

I'm not using any tool, I use the Xbox 360 to power the drive. I have the original keys, but no calibration data. I have been able to do many successful flashes until now. It isn't exactly freezing, more of doing absolutely nothing when I click Write. It just starts the first dot, then it stops. I can perform other actions after it stops there, so it can't be frozen. I could upload a log or to if it would help.
