Unlock Code for 6230i

Hi
getting phone restricted on New nokia 6230i bought in england in phone shop. no network.

imei: 357616003705516

Network will be: Vodafone Ireland

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

That code didnt work on the 6230i.
looking at what i posted might have been misleading so was prob my bad.

the phone was locked to Vodafone UK.
imei 357616/00/370551/6
