Hello, I have a good news for you. A lot of people don't know you are entittled to unlock your phone for free with your carrier once you had the phone for more than 90days. Your solution is to call T-mobile and tell them you are going out of the country for days and you want to be able to use your phone for their service when you get there, so you want them to unlock your phone for you. T-mobile still unlock your phone even if its not up to 90days.. I had MDA from T-mobile too and that is what am doing right now.
