Thank you for the response. I have unlocked a few phones before but this one is odd.

After punching in the code you gave (right after hitting the last '#'), the phone does nothing. It just stays there with the code I just entered on the screen. No messages, nothing. I can keep entering keys after the last '#'.

Ideas?

 

Insert a NON accepted sim card.When it says phone restricted, press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code,and enter the code in to the box on screen,and then input code I gave you

 

Got a bit farther. After hitting undo, it gave me a box to "Enter restriction code:"

I typed in the code and pressed OK, then:

Code Error

and back to the "restriction code" box.

I have been looking all over for the MNC for XEMobile with no luck.

 

Only hardware or a code from XE can unlock your mobile m8.

Do not try anymore codes as they will fail!!!
